My Response To Coronavirus
![]()
I consider myself "low risk" for dying from COVID-19 so I have continued to live life just with a few more precautions. My personal opinion is that the financial impact to our community will cause more harm than the potential for death from this virus. With that line of thinking, I see supporting my local businesses as the best thing I can do to help. I encourage each of you to react to this situation in a way that makes you feel safe. That response will be different for everyone of us. I will continue to notify the club of changes that impact our meeting and event schedule, along with ways to serve those in need.
The Desire To Put Service Above Self
How We Can Help
We reached out to all the local charities we support and asked, "how can we help?" Those that support families in need have depleted supplies and could use help restocking their shelves. In addition, our members that own restaurants are feeling the impact of reduced foot traffic.
We have organized 3 supply collections at Rotarian owned restaurants so we can show them some love while collecting supplies. Please see the details for each of these events below.
For those of you who do not want to be around others please make a financial donation and we will get help to those in need on your behalf.
