Time to kickoff a new Rotary year in true Roswell Rotary fashion - Partying and Fireworks !!
Thursday we say thanks to "soon to be Past" President Terry and install the new board and officers at Gate City Brewing along with BBQ and the Bluegrass inspired band Crooked Wits. Hope to see you there! See Installation Party Details Below. Link to register
Next Monday, the Fireworks really begin with our annual Fourth of July picnic. We will set up in the Roswell Place neighborhood, home to many Roswell Rotarians, and watch the City’s annual fireworks extravaganza from Roswell Area Park next door. See the announcement below for more details.

Terry Taylor Announces Rotarian & Rookie Rotarian of the Year

Roswell Rotary Rotarian of the Year: Leslie Maddox Bassett
- Has been with the club for only two years.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities early on through taking on numerous service projects.
- Always the one who stepped up to help when called on.
- Was instrumental being a team member with Team Rotoscope.
- A member of the Heavy Hitters Club.
- 2022-2023 board member and Golf and Tennis Tournament Czar.
Roswell Rotary Rookie of the Year: Langdon Hollingsworth
- Langdon has demonstrated leadership skills way beyond his years on this earth.
- He led the charge for our effort down in Panama remotely as he studied for two masters degrees at Harvard and MIT.
- Clear now why our district leadership award is named after his Grandfather Langdon Sheffield.
4th of July Fireworks
Celebrate 4th of July Fireworks with Your Fellow Rotarians

- When: Monday, July 4 begins at 7:00 PM until the fireworks are done.
- Where: Roswell Place neighborhood pool and tennis court parking at the corner of Roswell Place and Shelli Lane.
- Parking Caution: Please park on the left side of the neighborhood streets only or in the parking lot if available. Don't block Bob Clarkson's driveway
- Food: Mickey and gang will be grilling and we'll have beverages for the whole family.
- What to Bring: Side dish to share if you wish, and don't forget your lawn chairs for an evening of great fun and viewing.
RRAH Meeting Recap
After Hours Learns about GRSP and Rotary Foundation
After Hours had a great meeting last week! John Carruth and Leslie Bassett spoke about the Rotary Foundation. It was great to learn what the foundation does and how After Hours can get involved. Then, Georgia Rotary Student Program participant Panashe Sivindani spoke about her experience in GRSP. It was very interesting and insightful to learn about the program, and Zimbabwe!

After Hours Raises Money for the VEO
Thank you to everyone who came out to After Hour's first ever percentage night! 10 percent of proceeds will be donated to the Veterans Empowerment Organization. It was a FUN night and it felt great to support an amazing organization while having fun with Rotarians and friends!
