President Alex's Message

Fellow Rotarians: Happy Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) to those who celebrate!
I hope that everyone has recovered from our outstanding Golf/Tennis/Pickle Ball Tournament. We are now turning our attention to our Veterans Projects- including our November 10th Multi-Club initiative to take our veterans to Fort Moore (aka Fort Benning) as well as our Basketball Veterans Fundraiser and corroboration with Safe America and Post 201 for Veterans Day on November 11th. I hope you can attend this week's meeting with Georgia State Representative Scott Hilton who serves as the Vice Chairman of the General Assembly's Education Committee and represents the eastern part of our City.

Last Saturday was Huge Day of Service!

What a day serving at our Roswell First Responders Cookout! Thanks to all the volunteers-young and a little older! We cooked 140 burgers & 120 dogs. 17 students from RHS & Blessed Trinity volunteered along with many Rotarians.

And keeping our beautiful river clean! A real family affair and important for the next generations!

And the prize for most trash pulled out for a Roswell, GA Service Project! Thank you to our leaders Gabriel Prado and Joe Mazzeo.

Starhouse Pajama Drive Success!

We are excited to celebrate Starhouse's 30th Birthday this year. The Roswell Community Grant for $1750 was given to us for this project and our members donated the additional funds so that all 216 children had new pajamas going into the fall months. We were able to accommodate children at Vickery Mill, Mimosa, and Ester Jackson.
