Nancy Diamond and Rich Dippolito, our Charity Committee Co-Chairs, lead us in celebrating Roswell Rotary's support of local charities from the efforts of the annual Aubrey Greenway Golf and Hagan Cup Tennis Tournament. Funds raised at last year's golf tournament, in its 40th year, and tennis tournament, in its 6th year, is allowing Roswell Rotary to support over 30 charities. Roswell Rotary Club President, Becky Stone, says, "It is an honor to donate over $200,000 to help others doing good work in our own community." Organizations such as Be The Voice, Honor Air, End Human Trafficking, North Fulton Community Charities, Star House, Drake House, Jacob's Ladder, Stand Up For Kids and many others will benefit from the incredible work volunteers, participants, and sponsors provided last September 10. This is the true result of "People of Action" inspiring so many in our community and around the world.

River Clean-up Needs You
Roswell Rotary is proud to be a cleanup site sponsor for Sweep the Hooch – held April 6th, 9am to 12pm! Sweep the Hooch is an annual day of service to the Chattahoochee River watershed mobilizing volunteers on foot, in waders, or kayak/canoe paddlers to remove trash at locations throughout the watershed. Sweep the Hooch brings people together to give back to the mighty river that gives us so much. Last year, with the help of over 900 volunteers, we removed 24 TONS from our watershed. This is a great family event!
Details about the event and registration can be found here - https://chattahoochee.org/sweep-the-hooch/
Click on the registration link, select <walk/wade/paddle>, then choose the Riverside Road/Don White Park.
Besides signing up on line, email Dutch Earle hearle@esisearch.com to let him know you will be participating or call Dutch at 770-403-0755 if you have any questions.
