President's Message
This last week I hope you enjoyed hearing of the great work our Roswell Fire Department is doing for our community to make Roswell a great place to live work and play. Thanks to John Carruth for ringing the bell in my absence and showing off his wardrobe. From the pictures of the meeting, I definitely have suit envy! While away I made sure I registered a make up by visiting some fellow Rotarians in Santorini Greece. Although our cultures are different and they speak a different language, all Rotarians share in our motto of “service above self” and strive to make their communities and the world a better place. Our discussion made me appreciate living in a country in which we are free to give back unencumbered by political or religious challenges. You won’t want to miss this week’s meeting where we will hear from Roswell’s very own Gia Pergolini. Gia is a world class blind swimmer and will compete for the first time in the Paralympic games in Tokyo this summer!
