Club of the Year
I am thrilled that Roswell Rotary was named Club of the Year for our district – a recognition that reflects the incredible dedication, passion, and hard work of each and every member of our club. This honor is a testament to the powerful impact we’ve made in our community and around the world through service, fellowship, and leadership.
This past year, Roswell Rotary has led with heart and action. From building ADA-accessible picnic tables with the Chattahoochee Nature Center to launching new Interact Clubs, supporting literacy with KBeam reading wands, and packaging Santa Baskets for seniors—we’ve put Service Above Self in a big way. We’ve grown stronger by welcoming new members, revitalizing our public image, and deepening our commitment to mental health, youth, and international service.
While this recognition is a proud moment, our work is not done. Let’s finish this Rotary year with the same energy, creativity, and compassion that earned us this award. Every service project, every event, and every meeting is a chance to make a difference and live our Rotary values.
Thank you, Roswell Rotarians, for making this year extraordinary. Let’s keep the momentum going and finish strong—because when Roswell Rotary leads, communities thrive.
Get involved, bring a friend, and let’s keep changing the world together.
Congratulations to Bruce Smith – Elwyn Gaissert Service Above Self Award Winner!
Please join us in congratulating Bruce Smith, the well-deserving recipient of this year’s Elwyn Gaissert Service Above Self Award. Bruce exemplifies the true spirit of Rotary through his unwavering dedication, quiet leadership, and tireless service to others. Whether he’s working behind the scenes or stepping up to lead a project, Bruce does it all with humility and heart.
Thank you, Bruce, for living the Rotary motto every day—you make Roswell Rotary proud!
This Week’s Speaker: Gregor Baum
Join us this Thursday as we welcome Gregor Baum, who will share his personal journey with mental health and how it inspired him to write a children’s book on the topic. Gregor’s powerful story and commitment to breaking the stigma around mental health—especially for young people—promise to make this a meaningful and thought-provoking presentation.
Bring a friend and don’t miss this important conversation
