Judy Meer and Elaine DeNiro to Speak
Judy Meer is the 2023-2024 President of the Roswell Historical Society and Roswell rotary spouse of Rick Meer. The Grand Opening of the Roswell History Museum in January of 2023 was the “Dream Come True” for many members of the Roswell Historical Society, including Judy, after many years of planning and fundraising. She has been a member of the Society since 1998 and been an active Board Member and previous President. She was also a member of the Roswell Preservation Commission for 21 years. She now sits on the Commission as an Ex-Officio member as the President of the Roswell Historical Society. Judy is currently also an active member of the Roswell Woman’s Club, serving on the Board of Directors. Judy and her husband Rick founded Meer Electric in 1984 after relocating to Roswell from the historic mill town of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, in 1981. After 39 years, they retired in January of this year and left son, Peter, his wife, Kelly and their daughter, Cierra in place to continue their legacy.

She is responsible for the curation of the exhibits in the new Roswell History Museum. Elaine is a certified archivist with the Academy of Certified Archivists.
